Honeylocust Wood Box (BX120)
Honeylocust is a commonly planted tree on New England streets, having small leaflets that virtually disappear into the surroundings when they fall in autumn. Its wood is quite hard and a pleasing golden honey color. The first photo shows the remnants of a branch in the wood. The escutcheon under the pull is a cross-section of a branch, showing its annual rings. The lid can be removed with one hand, giving easy access to the contents.
Soft-gloss finish.
